The Arizona Public Safety Alliance (APSA) made up of the PFFAZ, FOP, AZCOPS, and the APA have been working for months to bring forth reasonable, responsible, and fair PSPRS pension adjustments. As a result of that work SB1504; PSPRS; service requirements; cost of living adjustments sponsored by Senator Gowan is ready to proceed through the legislative process.

The bill will eliminate the age requirement to collect a pension (52 1/2 and 55 years of age) after 25 years of service. It will also reduce the time delay on the COLA beginning from 7 years to 3 years.
